I am so excited to share this video with you today, because it’s my favorite project from the Summer Corn Tomato Pasta video. I love to use fresh basil and corn in this dish and I think this is my favorite way to use it.
This video takes us through the entire week of September 17, 2012. I don’t know exactly what I’m filming, but I am sure that I don’t need to tell you what I’m talking about. This is a weekly project for me, because I am a big fan of cooking but I have no idea how to actually cook. This video is a great way to learn more about the art of cooking and to practice.
To practice is to get better. It’s a little boring to do a recipe from scratch by reading the recipe, then checking off the veggies and the ingredients on the box. It’s a little easier to just chop up what’s in the box, add the ingredients, and let it simmer. But you can get more out of cooking if you take a few minutes every day and take a look at the ingredients, rather than just the recipe.
So how do you actually cook? Do you just chop up what you want to buy? The answer is no. There are many more ingredients than just what you buy. But you can still cook good food using what you already have. I can’t stress this enough. If you’ve got a lot of spices in your kitchen, you can cook with that without having to buy more spices.
Another reason why you should not buy a lot of spices at once is because spices are a very perishable product. When you think you’ve got a good idea of what you want to cook, you may well have to do a lot of chopping. But once you chop up what you want to buy, you can chop that up even more and still end up with a meal that tastes good.
That is, if you have a lot of spices in the store that you don’t know what you’re going to cook, you can chop everything up and still end up with a meal that tastes good. When you buy spices with the idea that they will last forever, you have to chop things up and end up with a dish that tastes awful. Why? Because you haven’t thought about the time it will take to make the meal.
Time is an important ingredient in cooking because cooking is about the interaction of time. We cook because we want to eat, and we want to eat because we want to cook. And the more we spend on food, the more we have to spend on time. So if you want to cook, you have to think about the time spent cooking and how it could be spent on other things.
If you want to make good food, you have to make it when you have time and the ingredients to make it. It’s a simple concept, but one that makes a lot of sense. You can’t make a great meal if you don’t have time to cook it. In our kitchen at home, we have a few things that I like to do whenever I have extra time, like making pasta and baking bread.
And it’s not all just about cooking. You should also take breaks from your cooking routine to find the time to be creative. You can do that by writing, drawing, watching a movie (that’s what I did last night). There will be days where you’ll find that you are not hungry. Take care of yourself and find the time to create something that you would enjoy.
