Apollo Fitgerald was a leather designer in the early ’60s. He was the one in the early ’70s that made leather out of the ground. He was one of the first to use technology to develop materials that not only looked good, but could withstand the elements. He was one of the first to take the time to develop a leather that was not just a cheap material. Instead, he gave it a unique look and texture that made it feel good.

He did this by putting natural materials into a machine and then allowing the machine to do the final shaping. This was a very advanced science back then, but was never used on a regular basis until the 90s. Today, he is one of the most well-known leather designers in the world.
